Privacy

Personal data should be handled for a clear purpose, with appropriate safeguards.

This privacy information explains, at a service level, how personal data may be processed when you visit Veriscore, create an account or use platform features. The exact processing depends on the features you choose to use.

Purpose Data is processed for defined service, security and legal purposes.
Control Access to personal information is limited according to role and need.
Rights GDPR rights are supported where they apply.

What information may be processed

Depending on how you use Veriscore, personal data may include account and contact details, profile and CV information, job-search or recruitment information, uploaded content, test or validation information, communications, payment-related references, security logs and technical device or connection data.

Please avoid submitting sensitive or unnecessary personal information when a feature does not require it.

Why information is processed

Processing may be necessary to provide requested services, administer accounts, perform contractual steps, protect the platform, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, maintain records, improve reliability or support legitimate operational interests. Consent is used where the relevant processing requires a freely given choice.

AI and recruitment-related processing

Some Veriscore features use AI or automated analysis to assist with text, matching, validation, ranking or other professional workflows. Outputs should be treated according to the purpose and limitations of the feature and, where appropriate, used with human review rather than accepted uncritically.

Where a workflow could produce legal or similarly significant effects through solely automated processing, additional transparency and safeguards may be required under applicable law.

Service providers and international transfers

Veriscore may use specialist providers for hosting, AI, video, communications, payments, mapping, anti-abuse protection or other platform functions. A provider may process limited personal data when necessary for the service it performs.

When personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, an appropriate transfer mechanism and supplementary safeguards must be used where required. We do not describe data as remaining exclusively in Europe when a selected feature relies on a provider or processing location outside the EU/EEA.

Retention and security

Personal data should be retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose, contractual relationship, security requirement or legal obligation. Different categories can therefore have different retention periods.

Technical and organisational safeguards include access restrictions and security measures appropriate to the sensitivity and risk of the data being processed. No online service can promise absolute security, so controls are reviewed as risks and technology change.

Your data-protection rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to information and access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as rights relating to certain automated decisions. The availability of a particular right depends on the circumstances and legal basis for processing.

  • Ask what personal data is processed about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion where the legal conditions for erasure are met.
  • Object to certain processing or request restriction where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal basis.
  • Lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
